What's New
✨ New Features
- In Value Assessment, Value-type signals in Manual mode now allow users to enter the Act value directly.
- A Start Test Condition option was added under Test Settings in reports for all tests that support Start Condition. In GPS mode, Start Time and Next Full are also printed, and binary signal labels are displayed correctly.
- General Test Object received several improvements, including manual column resizing, search filtering, Cut and Paste operations, table keyboard shortcuts, and the Foreign ID option.
- Existing Enum parameter members can now be edited using the Define Values button in Test Object.
- VNSEC, INSEC, and Residual Instrument Transformer fields are now displayed in the Device Settings form.
- Transient harmonic plots were added for virtual groups C through L for both voltage and current signals.
🔧 Improvements
- The Step and Final tables in Ramp now respect their individual Link Frequency settings. Link Frequency is disabled by default for Step.
- Actual frequency in Step Ramp and Continuous Ramp is now measured from the signal instead of remaining constant.
- At zero frequency, τ is no longer negative, and values outside the range of 0 to 100 are clamped to zero.
- In Value Assessment, the Value type for rows without curves, such as S and Z Fault, is now calculated as Magnitude.
- In Measurement View, inserting a State before or after an existing State no longer changes the reference State of previous evaluations. The t_start and t_end suffixes are also preserved in the Time table.
- After changing Hardware Config or Display Type, Nom and Dev units are updated in the Value and Ramp tables, and row names are preserved.
- In OPENLOOP Transducer, units are now also displayed for the Knee and Max output values.
- Time values in Test Object cells are now displayed more accurately; for example, 64 ms is no longer displayed as 60 ms.
- Older XRIO files that contain only Schema errors are now accepted when loading COMTRADE files.
- In Hardware Configuration, the Wiring section is hidden whenever the voltage or current output is set to Not Used.
- When Type or Display Type changes in Hardware Configuration, the row's target and label are both set to Not Used and saved correctly.
- In Hardware Configuration for devices 105 and 103, clicking Config under More Info no longer causes an unintended change in the number of voltage table rows.
- In equipment rooms, opening the wiring image of another room no longer reopens the previous room's image.
- In the Overcurrent room's Manage Characteristic window, double-clicking a folder no longer closes the window.
- Link to XRIO references pointing to a parameter inside a block that shares its name with another parameter are now resolved correctly instead of being incorrectly marked as broken.
- In VCC, copying a folder now includes all its child items and subfolders. Brief files for XRIOs copied or added through Browse are also handled correctly.
- In the VCC text editor, the font name and size are now updated according to the cursor position.
- When saving to a read-only file in the VCC text editor, a clear and specific message is displayed instead of a generic error dialog.
- Several VCC issues were improved: correct extensions are now applied to Word and Excel files added through Browse, save-error messages are clearer, Delay Before Closing is saved for VDC nodes, and the Inherit XRIO switch works correctly.
- Export as Image now preserves units and Primary and Relative values.
- Export COMTRADE now includes active binary outputs in the list, even when ShowActual is not enabled.
- After stopping a VCC execution, restarting now resumes from the first node without a result. Completed nodes and preceding Pause nodes are not executed again.
- After pressing Stop in VCC, pressing Start again correctly resumes execution instead of leaving the node stuck.
- In VCC, files with an incompatible Hardware Config version are checked before execution. The warning is displayed only once, and the test does not start.
- In relay rooms, Apply Test from the right-click menu now performs the same initial checks as Start, including the Hardware Config version mismatch check.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Fixed an Object Reference error in MyGridTextBox that occurred when closing it.
- Fixed the incorrect "Value is greater than Max" error for a channel phase at zero frequency in Step Ramp.
- Fixed an application crash when using a harmonic State and changing Hardware. The API also now enforces a minimum of two InterHarmonic rows.
- After deleting an InterHarmonic row, the selected row now remains correctly within the table.
- Fixed the rendering of Ramp waveforms and commanded frequency curves in Signal View when zoomed out.
- Fixed the zoomed-out rendering of harmonic voltage and current signals in rooms that use Add Signal.
- Fixed the zoomed-out display of two harmonic waveforms in InterHarmonic mode in Signal View.
- Fixed a crash during Export Points in Signal View. Markers are now attached to the correct curves.
- In Cross output, Actual voltage and current values are now read from their respective data correctly, and rows marked with ® are also evaluated.
- In Cross mode, the Actual voltage RMS and angle values are now read from voltage data rather than current data.
- In Signal View, when switching a device from 105 to 103 or from 205 to 203, hidden binary channels are set to Not Used and no longer appear in Signal View or Measurement View.
- In the circuit breaker DRM test, the resistance plot is now drawn as a continuous curve across the operating range instead of separate windows around the Open and Close operations.
- Fixed a crash when creating a New File in equipment rooms after selecting Set as Default in Test Object.
- Fixed a crash when opening a file in the Differential section's Grabber in Test Object.
- Fixed a crash when closing VCC while the Hardware Config or Test Object form is still open.
- Fixed a crash in Analog Output Configuration when opening or modifying VCC files that contain results.
- Fixed a crash when right-clicking a Sequencer node while generating a report.
- Fixed VCC crashes caused by Self Calibration and Overcurrent errors.
- Improved handling of the "Sequence contains no elements" error in VCC. If a device error occurs, execution stops at the affected node.
- Fixed crashes in the VccReportView Report Setting window, including after deleting a ReportSettingsPackage node and when working with Folder and VDC nodes.
